How do I control Android Auto™ ?

You can control Android Auto™ in several convenient and secure ways:

With Google Assistant: Simply use the voice command button on your steering wheel to activate Google Assistant. Then you can give commands like “call [name]” or ask Google Assitant to check your unread messages. Google assistant can respond to many commands and read your messages aloud. You can even ask it to write replies to incoming messages.

With the HMI Commander: As Android Auto™ mirrors your phone's interface on your vehicle's screen, you can navigate through applications using the HMI Commander. Simply scroll and press an icon to open an application. You can also use the buttons on your steering wheel to adjust the volume or skip to the next song when listening to music.
With the touchscreen: When your vehicle is stationary, you can use the touchscreen to interact with Android Auto™. Simply touch the application you want to use and operate it as you would on your phone. The touchscreen automatically deactivates when you resume driving, but you can always use Google Assistant or the HMI Commander to continue using Android Auto™ safely and conveniently.

These different options offer flexibility in controlling Android Auto™, allowing you to choose the most convenient method according to your needs and the driving situation.
