Is a dead battery covered by warranty ?

Mazda battery warranty is:

  • From new: 3 years/60,000 miles whichever the sooner
  • Parts sales: 3 years as this is specified on the battery an invoice must show the date of purchase, customers name and vehicle details such as a VIN or REG
  • Fitted by non –Mazda dealer: In the 2nd and 3rd year, this would be paid via goodwill providing a Battery condition report can be provided and an invoice 
  • Electric Vehicle High Voltage Battery and High Voltage Battery Capacity: 8 years or 100,000 miles, whichever occurs first (unlimited in the first year)
