How does fast charging work ?

Fast charging differs from home charging and conventional AC charging stations in that it uses direct current (DC).
The conversion from AC to DC takes place at the charging station, enabling much faster recharges, from 50 kW to 350 kW.
This means that the battery can be charged from 20% to 80% in around 30 minutes on most electric vehicles, including the MX-30.

A 50 kW fast charge is possible with a CCS plug.
So, you don't need your own charging cable, as it's available directly from the fast-charging station.
